Thilo Wagner, one of Europe’s best swing pianists finally formed his own trio after having performed with jazz greats like Jim Hall, Art Farmer, Scott Hamilton, Slide Hampton, Clark Terry.
He teamed up with two young, yet already well-established players: Jean-Philippe Wadle on bass and Flo Hermann on drums. And you can share the fun they had swingin away when you listen to their BASSFACE SWING TRIO. Recorded in concert, the CD „Straight Live" (ROD 25) captures all the energy, dynamics, their charme, the ideas, their virtuosity and not least the humour of this trio.
