Actor and multi-instrumentalist Tobi Hofmann introduces his new project SWIP SWAP with this great CD: Melodic jazz and „loungy“ grooves, a fresh,and modern sound performed by five great, young musicians of Munich’s famous jazz scene. Most songs on this album are composed by Tobi Hofmann who named Thad Jones, Tom Harrell and his teacher and friend Rob Pronk as his big influences. Added are new arrangements on three standards „Equinox” (John Coltrane), „On Green Dolphin Street“ (Ned Washington/Bronislaw Kaper) and “Nature Boy” (Eden Ahbez).
