The musicians create “alternative facts” on this CD: All tracks are “counterfactuals” - i.e. new melodies based on well-known song harmonies, which shine again in a completely fresh and different way than usual.
Michael Arlt, one of the most famous jazz guitarists in Germany (including Roman Schwaller, Paquito di Rivera), meets the Mannheim saxophonist Alberto Menendez (including Carlos "Patato" Valdes, HR Bigband, Benny Bailey, Weather Girls), bassist Dietmar Fuhr and the great drummer Rick Hollander.
